Pawar Public School, Nanded City

As part of the EUMIND Project 2024–25, students of Pawar Public School, Nanded City, actively engaged in diverse projects that connected Mathematics with real-life applications and promoted sustainability through Go Green initiatives.

Mathematics in Everyday Life

Students explored the role of Math in:

  • Sports – understanding measurements, statistics, and strategies.
  • Nature – observing patterns, symmetry, and Fibonacci sequences.
  • Fine Arts (Painting, Dance, Culture & Music) – exploring rhythm, proportion, and geometry in creativity.
  • Kitchen – applying fractions, ratios, and proportions in cooking.
  • Architecture – discovering geometry, design, and balance in structures.

These activities made Math engaging, practical, and connected to students’ surroundings.

Go Green Project

Alongside Math, students worked on sustainability themes:

  • Waste Management – campaigns on the 3Rs, composting, and best-out-of-waste activities.
  • Green Meals – preparing and learning about the nutritional value of green vegetables.
  • Food Waste Study – interacting with experts and cafeteria staff to find ways to reduce wastage.
  • Plastic Recycling & Eco-companies – interviewing professionals to understand recycling, up cycling, and eco-friendly business practices.
  • Saving Energy – awareness drives to conserve electricity and adopt greener hab

These initiatives not only deepened subject knowledge but also nurtured creativity, responsibility, and global awareness among students—true learning beyond classrooms.
